Guys I finally almost completely have my going from standing to a bridge down! My neighbor helped me yesterday while I was babysitting. Then she and her friend started to teach me how to do a cartwheel.
How would people feel if I made this blog, my main one, my “healthy/fit/whatever” blog instead of my additional one.. I post on there more and it would be so much easier to use this instead.. Thoughts?
I feel so accomplished every time I cross something off of my bucket list, no matter how stupid or silly they are. Number 13 on my list is “Walk to the Hollywood Hills Sign,” and this was completed on January 1, 2013. My mother, sister and I made the trek up the hill with a wonderful view of the city and saw the sign as close as we legally are able to. Number 58, “Go to a karaoke bar,” was completed the day before, on December 31, 2012. My mother, sister and I are in California for a month; I may or may not have mentioned this. I turned twenty-one about a week ago and being here with my little sister and mom I didn’t think I would have any fun celebrating. I figured I’d celebrate when I get home (which I still will.) A long time friend of the family’s niece lives out here and I’ve known her since I was in elementary school. She is a singer and goes to karaoke bars and she took me to one that she goes to. I had a couple of shots and a drink before being dragged up to the stage when it was my turn (seriously her friend had to get me moving I was so nervous.) I first sang “Amen” by Edens Edge and then I sang “Gunpowder & Lead” by Miranda Lambert. I definitely feel better about going out to karaoke bars with my friend when I get home. It was kind of a lot of fun— nerve wracking, but fun.

Hurricane Sandy came and went and made her mark. Trees are down and so many still don’t have power.. Luckily Olde Media Tattoo did have power! My friend and I went to get tattoos- her sixth and my fourth. I added onto the feather from the other week.
Well.. number three on my list is to leave a 100% tip. I’ve gotten tattoos before from here.. and the guy I had tonight did my last two. I officially call him my tattoo guy. Mike is great. Three of my four are done by him, and five of my friend’s six are done by him. He’s our favorite. Well he only charged us shop minimum tonight. I had looked over my bucket list earlier in the day and came across this thing and while getting my tattoo I thought about how I wanted to leave that kind of tip with someone who really deserved it. Yeah, I could leave it on a ten dollar lunch at a diner, but I feel like I know Mike. I feel like he definitely deserve it, and I couldn’t be happier with leaving him the tip.
